RACES
The Evitt Foundation is proud to host a variety of unique running events in our community every year to help raise funds for our foundation. These events play a critical role in our fundraising efforts.
Changeup for children
RTC is proud to announce ChangeUp for Children. With the new ChangeUp program, RTC will allow customers to round up their monthly bill to the nearest whole dollar amount, donating the difference in change to the Evitt Foundation.

Food pantry
In partnership with the Chattanooga Area Food Bank and Ringgold Telephone Company (RTC), the Evitt Foundation is working to provide free fresh groceries to families in need of assistance. These mobile food pantries are held every other month in downtown Ringgold at 7449 Nashville Street, directly adjacent to the Catoosa County Courthouse. Families are required to provide their home address and an income range. The event is for Georgia residents only.

Honoring The Legacy And Generosity Of Our Founding Father
In 2004, The Evitt Foundation, a 501(c)(3), was established to honor the memory and legacy of Ringgold Telephone Company founder, Jim Evitt Sr. During his lifetime, Jim Evitt Sr. was not only the local pharmacist, a Catoosa County Superior Clerk, and entrepreneur, he was an instrumental part of numerous projects that made Ringgold a better community.
Evitt consistently looked for opportunities to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Today, the Evitt Foundation's mission is one which strives to keep Jim Evitt Sr.'s legacy alive. The Foundation works toward promoting child welfare and education in the Catoosa County community, as well as in underprivileged areas throughout the world.
